SAFETY Four Winds ropes courses are designed by experienced leaders to maximize the excitement and minimize the risk. Our leaders work hard to ensure that everyone is safe while challenging themselves and having fun in the process. Our ropes courses are constructed by builders certified by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT), the leader in research, design, and construction of ropes courses. ACCT certified builders inspect all carabiners, belay devices, harnesses, and helmets each year, along with all components of each activity. Four Winds designers, facilitators, and a network of consultants are well-trained and experienced in management and organization development, psychology and human development, adventure program leadership, and education. Our staff is dedicated to both process and outcome.
